Quick Norinco 1911A1 Range report

As for magazines ive never even used the ones that came with it.I bought 6 of these and they work perfect.

When I owned a Norc 1911A1 I bought a few mags from Marstars. The plain jane mags for under $8 each. They weren't pretty but never failed to function.
Btw....Mine was from Armco and "tuned". It functioned flawlessly but it was a little rough in the QC.

Can you elaborate?

Ive fired all of BradofCanadas Norincos, including this 1911, many times. This also includes the cheapo Norinco 780 from a batch with verifiably BAD QC, and no issues. I think when any argument is made in generalizations they lose a lot of validity, so this is my experience with these guns. (and aside from what hes shot through them previously, weve put a fair amount of rounds through them lately. Especially that 1911).

I have had a total of 6 Norkie 1911s. Still have 4. No complaints at all. When fed good ammo through good magazines, they all shoot great. Triggers get better each time they are shot.

Sure Norkie 1911s have rough edges, but nothing that a few strategically located callouses can't handle.

They are a great handgun,I dont know why so many haters.

Because some people like their guns to be pretty, and reliability/ construction strength aren't as high on their lists. Also, some people equate price with quality, so to them, the Norc must be crap. Others just hate Chinese stuff. A few have genuinely had poor experiences with Norcs.

Believe me,I don't care what anybody thinks.I just want the newer shooters out there to know this is a good firearm and posted the proof of that.I have read countless threads of new guys asking what kind of 1911 to get on a budget.

i have owned 4, they are a little "gritty" when new, i prefer to dissassy smooth out the sharp edges and then go to the range, my buddy just put up with jams the first few hundred rounds, his run fine now....or buy used, itll be broke in, you save a few bucks and taxes!

I've shot Brad's 1911 recently and it was my first time with a .45 handgun. I'm now lining up to get one of the Norc Sig clones after my experience, they are truly great value.
