I have been looking online for some info on this gun and all I can find is it was made from 1930 to 1949. I was wonder what the kind of value is on this gun? From the serial number I figure mine was made in the mid 30's does anyone else have one of theses? I am looking for all info I can get on this gun
Thanks

I have one as well, came in a group purchase. They appear to be a copy of the Remington Model 11, some with a high quality blueing.
Mine is U.S. Property marked with the flaming bomb, parkerized. Barrel is 24 inches with, what appears to be, an aftermarket exterior choke. Serial # matches the military range of 69,000-90,000.

IN the 1960,s my Dad ended up with one on some gun trade, a 16 gauge. It was my first duck and partridge gun, As a kid I thought it was it was a Weatherby :) In truth I loved it--- long gone-- It kinda looked like cheaper version of a browning A5, even had engraving, or as said-- Rem mod. 11. I like the way the old hump backs point. I see one at gun shows here now and then in 12 gauge in the $275.00 range . Just curious gunrunner 100, on the one you have, were they used by the military, WW11. Cheers

I don't know if the 720 ever had an aluminum receiver as an option, maybe it was just the 745/755 models. They have a design flaw which almost ensures cracking in the receiver. I don't think any of the steel guns had that problem.

Doing some reading, commercial shotguns were bought up by the military or the factories tooled up to meet the needs for gunnery practice.
There were also some made for "Trench" guns, along with other makers guns.
