H&K UMP/USC - anyone have one or shoot one?

I had a non restricted usc. Loved it. 7 mags. Its the only gun i have ever regretted selling. But it couldn't have been to a better guy. Still a mistake on my part tho. They would be tremendously fun gopher shooting with no mag limit. Still fun at 5 rounds a crack tho. I miss it very very very much.

Here is mine, more on the unconventional side ;)

Definitely an awesome gun, although the conversions are pricey they are awesome guns!

I've shot a USC. Fireball had one.

I really liked it. Plasticy yes, but it it was soft to shoot and pointed nicely. It's a fair sized firearm for a pistol caliber. They were $2000 for the stock ones. I enjoyed shooting it.

While I'm not sold on the Kriss vector (I'm not fond of the stock or the 5.5" barrel for the regular) I will say it offers more for the dollar. But you don't get the red HK (No I'm not an HK fanboy just having fun).

I've been hearing it's pretty plasticy from a few people, but at $2,000 for a USC that's not too shocking a price to pay. I've been pondering one of the following: USC (with UMP conversion) / Kriss / SAF Mini / PS90 as my pricey black rifle acquisition (first one really). Always loved the UMP but it's looking a bit niche to get with varying prices and availability.

I shot a F/A .40 UMP in South carolina. Seemed to want to climb more than some other F/A I've shot. Not that it matters in Canada. :(

If I could find a used USC at a great price (probably never find one) I'd buy a second one and do a full restricted conversion to match my Non restricted USC.

since I know little about the marketing of this gun... are they still selling the UMP variant? I saw a USC not long ago, but in my mind it just needs the battle grip up front and that isnt happening with the USC without the conversion kit.
