Man does Westrifle ever have some nice looking SKSs on their site.

The right cover may be there. I bought a non refurb a while ago and discovered (upon getting home and wiping off cosmo) that the mag didn't match. Took it back and sure enough, it had been switched with another rifle in the same crate, likely when pinned.

lol..that's possible..maybe the the rifle with the serial number on my receiver cover is sporting the cover that should be on mine.

Did you see reply from me? I don't want to reveal your location or name here :)

yep got it...and replied, twice, cause the first time I forgot to give you my contact info..durr

and just so everyone else reading this thread doesn't think I'm a jerk ;) just wanna give Westrifle props for offering to sort this out without complaint. Awesome customer service and will most likely be seeing more of my business in the not too distant future. Thanks Al !

There are many, many like it...

This thing is gorgeous. Numbers matching, "unissued" condition. I agree with the assessment that it has never been fired. Minor cosmetic marring consistent with handling and storage, but ZERO indication of actual use.

This is my first SKS, so pardon the question: The muzzle crown appears to be "in the white". Is this standard?

Props to Westrifle for making such a large volume of such high quality SKS rifles available!

I like it!!!

thank you for posting this. I have been asked two years ago to change those frankpinned to something that is more acceptable. Well westrifle.com did it for you. If anyone out there says that they did i can show multiple emails and requests showing that we were the one ( many of those letters in russian)

anyway how do people feel about this pinning?

Hi guys, i got my 49 this morning, yayyyyy:D Its an all matching 1949,unlike the previous 49, this one have the proper stock for the spike bayonet. There's a diamond refurb stamp on the cover(i saw this when i bought it), the stock is not renumbered and dont have year stamped on it. I think that the rifle only had a stock change with a correct replacement, stock didn't have been sanded either. The finish is first class, definitely a safe queen:) I'm very happy to get such a nice 49, guys on gunboard will be jealous:p Here's pics, enjoy!
