would it not be easier to buy a svt 40 or ag 42b.

I'm sitting down with the owner of CSA this weekend to discuss this and other issues.
Some of the requests have been "interesting" but we will see what we can do.

Really really hoping for a 12 gauge. Fingers crossed.
Have VZ58 type rifles in .308 been made already at some time?
Some possible variations:

Not gonna happen. Likely $1200 ish, which is pretty good considering what you're getting.
Do these look vaguely like FAL mags to anyone else? First and second from top look neat. I wonder if they'd have to build a gas regulator into the gun.... I suspect so, but an FAL style regulator wouldn't be a huge issue.
Which would be doable if the rear of the rifle was part of the receiver and not just a dust cover. That's why the sight is where it is.I think it would be super cool if the rear sight was removed and instead have a rear peep sight like a FAL.
i'd be down as well, but make the furniture finished in a flat black polymer type, with a ventilated hanguard i think that would look great.
Whatever you have to do to make it function well and affordable. Individuals can always customize afterwards.
