It's NON-Restricted, so a 'regular' PAL & you are good to go. Also...

You can shoot it anywhere IT IS SAFE to shoot a gun! (Think BACKSTOP...)

So, woods, range or TREE STAND for deer! (My plan next year!!!)

Cheers

I thought it was a fully automatic weapon, but in that note I see that marstar sells fully automatic weapons and I wonder who is able to buy those weapons, is there a way that I can get a permit for fully autmatic weapons?

what is the law regarding capacity on belt fed semi-auto's? Also, what about if the belts are installed in a drum (MG-34, RPD)? Are the drums considered a magazine?

This might be a newb question but does it comes with the links for the belt and if not were the hell do you find that?

The metallic links are not that hard to find. Marstar use to have them but it's been awhile since I checked the status on their stock. I have seen them for sale on ebay but I normally have friends in the US send them to me. I think the M37 might accept the cloth belts also but I would have to look into that.

I just checked and they only come in 30-06. Does anyone know how difficult it would be to convert one to .308/7.62x51?
It's been done plenty of times. Won't be long after these arrive that people will be posting up conversion threads again. It's just too bad .308 wasn't an option right from the factory.

I've been reading on some US boards (1919a4.com and beltfedforums) and it sounds like it IS possible to convert, and not that tough. THe problem is that it doesn't use the same parts for the conversion as a 1919a4, and apparently M37 parts are tougher to find and more expensive. Oh well - won't take TOO many rounds before it's well worth the conversion price. :)

What types of belts can be used in these? Are they the same as the 1919? Can a cloth belt be used. I did I search here and google and did not turn up any result.

Yes, they can use cloth belts & metal link belts.

Yes, it's a 1919. Just like we call the M16 a C7, the USA called this version of the 1919 the M37 and it was the last of the .30 caliber air-cooled Brownings adopted by the US military.
