Can Anyone Identify These Scope Bases?

So I finally decided to put an optic on my Savage Mark II, I had bought the scope bases some time ago and read they were Weaver bases.

I purchased a set of Millett rings and Burris Zee rings, made for Weaver bases but sadly they did not fit; the "height" of the bases seems too great for the Burris Zees to even slide onto and the Milletts could not be tightened down and produced a cant. However, the rings fit perfectly on my Ruger 10/22 scope base, which is a combination of Weaver and 3/8 dovetail. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Apologies for the lack of photos of the rings, when I get home, I will update the post with more pictures.

Here's the Millett ring on the scope base:

Yet it seems fine on the Ruger mount:

Here I try to show the cross section, Savage on the left, Ruger on the right:

Looks like Warne to me. Were the rings you bought specifically for a 22? Because that won't work - they are smaller.

I bought Weaver style rings, when I bought the bases many moons ago, I just went to the store and asked for a "scope base for a Savage Mark II".

I have (I believe) millet weaver rings, different ones that yours, but they seem to sit about the same. The engagement looks a little funny, but I've had no issues losing zero or anything like that. Maybe they are the wrong kind, and if someone knows for sure, I may get around to changing them eventually.

Also, wow, does that gun ever look dirty in macro with the flash on.

I put some Millet Weaver types on a Mauser type rifle, and had the same fit issues as above - just not quite right.
The Burris signature rings, when slightly spread with a snap ring spreader, and with a little de-cornering of the bases, the rings fit well.
They are snug, but they do work well.

The Millet Weaver bases appear to work best with their own rings. They are slightly wider I find.

Snap ring pliers, why didn't I think of that? I've got a set that I've used only once during my short throw shifter installation. Anyways, I was able to stretch the Burris Signature Zee rings to fit. I really wish I had the QD version though, I like having iron sights.
