If you can find a minty, low-round one that's already broken in - you'll probably be ahead a few hundred dollars. With the exception of my Kriss, all my current black rifles were bought mint from the original owner.

you have a solid argument! i will consider this but im am extremly anal when it comes to my rifles and if i cant see it in my hands im kinda skeptical to buy one from another province.

If the guy selling it has a high trader rating, you can reasonably with a degree of confidence. There's always the chance you can find someone locally. I wouldn't be surprised if people list a few toys for sale right after Christmas. And of course there's nothing wrong with "new gun smell". :D

PS. If it's already got the odd minor scratch, you won't feel as bad when you add your own! ;)

Minty used is the best way to go, I bought my Kriss with 50 rounds down the pipe and I couldn't find a single blemish on it anywhere. When you consider the cost of the extra's I talked him into throwing in I saved about $800
I like new as well though and totally understand wanting to know exactly the guns history. My vector could have easilly had 1000 rounds of hard rapid firing and I would never know. I have to take the seller at his word.
