So I just picked up a Henry Golden Boy in .22WMR (soooo purdy) and I need to give it something to eat. I usually buy bulk for my other .22's (Long Rifle) and am wondering if you guys can recommend a source of .22WMR. I am in the GTA so pick up would be best, but I don't mind paying shipping if required.

Fourteen bucks for 50 is the going price here and shipping is about the same. If you went thru the magnum shells in the number of .22 long rifles that i do each year, you would have to have very deep pockets. I average about 8000-10,000 rounds during the 6 months of spring and fall gopher shooting time. most farmers allow me on their land at a come when i can service.

First you need to sort-out what the gun likes to eat first. My Savage prefers Hornady 30gr. V-Max, but I have a pile of other ammo I bought to try with it just in case it shot something else better. If you'd care to buy this "sample pack" of partial boxes from me...say the word! :) I'm in the GTA too.

Anyhow, the Hornady stuff is what my gun likes best...but there isn't a chance I'd buy any ammo in bulk until I ran some through my gun first. Le Baron and Bass Pro have been pretty reliable sources for Hornady.

I have tried the Winchester DynaPoints, Hornady V-Max and CCI Maxi-Mags and it runs them all like a champ. So it looks like it's not going to be too picky about ammo. Thanks for the offer of the "sample pack", if you want to send me a PM with details I would certainly consider it.
