bullpups

Hi, Im new to this forum, normally hang around MBR...but.

I saw the thread on bullpups and was hoping to see some mention of the Keltec RFB, Ive got a chance to buy one and its a no brainer for me as its 308 :)
However I did some research and it seems there are still quite a few problems with them. Does anybody have any input they would care to share. I dont want to spend 2700 bucks and find out its as reliable as an SA80.

Thanks in advance :)

Hey PressPass, how does the rifle sit when you just let it hang with that SPsling setup? It looks like the but would be the heavy end, forcing the barrel upwards?

I can't speak for TV, but having a virtually similar setup - it always forces the barrel down (even on the shorter Tavor).

It's taaaaa vooor

Yes, "Tah-vor". If you say "Tay-vor", you have to hand in your man card as well as sell your Tavor. An easy way to remember: if it sounds like there's a "###" in it, you're not pronouncing it right. ;)

I once called it a Tay-vor in front of some Israeli guys and they corrected me immediately.

I felt uncool.

@MajorSights, that's not a single point! Thats a two point Urban ERT with the rear mount on the right hand side. I have a video and a writeup explaining why I do it that way, and why the problem you described with single points means I don't use single point.

Jerk. ;) I'll stick with 10 round LAR's for now and I have plenty of those. Still think the FS is a cooler platform. :)

Hehe, lol. It is pretty cool. The 'toilet seat cover' is epic! ;) If you could get it for under $3k in a NR configuration it would be even cooler.

So does Hamas ;) Bullpup showdown in the middle east perhaps?

Gee, I wonder where they got that from...? <cough> Libya <cough>

Tavor is the better rifle of the two. Get the FS2000 if you want people to question your masculinity.

My M37 should put that question to rest (when it arrives)... oh and my wang does that too. ;) haha

Your FS2000 hate is strong... I'm guessing you've never fired one? The only downside from my perspective is the magwell is tough to seat mags.. you really gotta smack the bottom. But the forward ejecting makes it a LH shooters' dream. No 'LH bolt' required like that fluffy lookin TahVOOOR!!!

OK, I've been sick for a few days - what's the M37? Yes, it's tough to seat mags in the FS2000. Tougher still if they're polymer. ;)

I actually owned one, so I am not speaking out of my you know where on this. I just really disliked it. Most of the rifle just felt... wrong... I don't know, maybe it was just me.

That said, you know I am no fudd, but I just really don't like the FS-2000.
