Hot Seat - Keeping Warm??

Hello All,

I wasn't sure where to post this initially but I figure those here would be able to help/have experience with keeping warm out doors. I am looking for a kind of seat/cushion that is battery operated for warmth that I can take to my outdoor range with me throughout the winter. I have seen the 'Hotseat' product at CND Tire but it just uses body heat. Does such a thing exist?

Any input/suggestions would be appreciated,

they work fine for its price. sure are not going to warm up your butt but it wont let your precious butt freeze
 
I use a regular Hot Seat - the bag with the styrofoam bits inside. It does the job - very well. My wife came with me this year and she used a piece of 2" thick styrofoam insulation, which also worked very well, if a bit noisy to get in and out of the pack.

Ya I have one of these too. Works great. NO batteries.

Gatehouse and BAC4 have got it. 2" of blue foam board and your good to go. The foam board neither gets hot or cold, remains rather inert. It will keep your little bottom warm. I have used foam board on out house seats for 45yrs. You can sit on this stuff at -35' F and you"ll swear it's a heated seat. If you go to Home Depot you can usually by a broken sheet for next to nothing.
 
i picked up a folding foam cushion from CTC a few years ago.paid 10 bucks for it on sale regular price was 40.the back piece is 3/4-1 inch thick and the seat part is 1 1/2-2 inches thick.it has camo cloth on it.keeps my butt nice and warm.kicking myself for not buying the other 4 they had also.i think it is also from the hotseat line.

here is a couple of pics of the seat i got at CTC.therm-a-seat.they do not even carry them now.i think cabelas does.
 
just checked the cabelas web site.both canada and the us.they do not have them listed.they are in my 2010 cabelas catelog.therm-a-seat ultra deluxe portable folding cushion.
