Will the norinco Type 97 accept 10-round mag legally???

I think it's ugly but its a cheap enough price I might pick one up... not sure I don't shoot .223 yet that would mean loading for another caliber.. its an ugly looking firearm not sure if I will get one or not on the fence... Price isn't that bad when you compare other rifles are more money ie 1500 more but do they give you more gun for the price not really..

I guess there's no pleasing some people. Too expensive? Not hardly. Norinco doesn't necessarily mean crap. Norinco doesn't manufacture, they import from several Chinese manufacturers. Some are military grade, some are not. People were pissing and moaning that Tavors were too expensive. Well, here's an alternative at 1/3 the price. Don't wanna pay it-then don't. There's no cheaper .223 non-restricted bullpup coming along-ever. I bet if they sold it for $100 you'd be on here whining about the quality.

Some people can't get over the fact that Norinco sells things other than surplus SKS's and 350 dollar 1911 clones, and think everything they sell should be priced the same as the two aforementioned firearms.

The T97 is a steal at that price, if he doesn't realize that, tough for him.
