I have a CZ75B that absolutely adore and have probably got 1000 rds through now and I now feel its time for a trigger job and action polish. Who are some great smiths that do this sort of work? What I would most like to have down is a lighter sa trigger pull with less take up. Thanks.

I would just keep shooting it and dry firing it. It is doing a trigger job on it's own without the cost. To lighten the trigger pull, put in a 13lb main spring. I don't think you can shorten the take up without installing parts from Cajun Gun Works or a SRT trigger kit from CZ. Neither can be shipped to Canada at the moment.

You'll get 80 to 85% of the results simply by ordering and installing the 13lb mainspring from CZCustom out of the US. That and another 1000 rounds will smooth both the single and double actions up noticably as well as lightening the trigger. If you want more than that then seek out a smith. But MOST folks are happy with the spring swap along with the smoothening of the action that comes from the "wear" of shooting around 2000 rounds.

The main spring replacement interests me, so there is no place to order in Canada or from the US that ships?
I guess I'm stuck dry firing for the next month as I fell and broke my wrist lol!!

You can order the main spring from czcustom. They ship to Canada but it wouldn't be worth it for just a spring. Try CRAFM. They might have some in stock.
