Magpul XTM hand stop vs. LaRue Index clips

It's not released yet so I doubt you'll find anyone who has trie the Magpul XTM.

Correct. XTM stop is currently MIA.

I like the gearstop and KAC one's I've used. Never tired Larue's

I've used the KAC and Cadex handstops in the reverse posn(ie indexing stop) and both are solid.

I have a couple of the larue ones...cheap plastic.

I like the KAC one the best

The Cadex hand stop is nice. It used to be mounted on my VZ but I just put it on my AR with the new Troy MRF rail.

I wouldn't mind a plastic unit as long as it locks in solid and is durable.

Nice, pretty good info! I am for sure looking forward to the Magpul XTM handstop kit. I think a handstop for around 20$ sounds really interesting. I've put off getting a handstop in hopes the XTM set would come out late summer/fall... Alas they're MIA till next year. Hopefully a comparison will go up here when they materialize.

I'd really be curious about a comparison between the Magpul XTM kit, KAC, Cadex and Gear Sector(?) ones.

The LaRue clips are nice simply because you can insert them one slot at a time. I've seen a few where they textured them like handgun grips, so I imagine they'd be comparable to the Magpul setup. If (when) it's ever released...

I use a noveske K9 as a handstop ans I love it! Ive used it against some barricades and it fonctions great , those spikes in the front are really sharp and provide excellent stability. Beside all around fonction , it also looks bada$$.

I have and it's my favorite. Strong as the KAC ones but more ergonomic.

I think it was designed as barricade press, all the teeth can be jammed into a structure.
