I'm sure there are some people here that have one of these. I would love to hear their opinions of them on how they feel and function. I've been thinking of getting one of these but would like some owners input on them first.
Thanks.

I'm assuming you mean the MP-161. I've had one (purchased new) for about 8-9 months. I haven't used it a lot, maybe about 1000 rounds or so. I've had no issues with how it functions and it is reasonably accurate with all ammo types. I even got it to shoot Remington Yellow jackets with reasonable accuracy and none of my other .22s have liked them. Although it's got a lot of plastic it doesn't feel flimsy. It points easily and comes up on target. I especially appreciate the adjustable cheek rest. I even modded it to accept a bi-pod.

The barrel is a little thin but other than that it's built like a tank. The mags are a bit on the heavy side but also well built. The only negative is that they only hold 9. All in all it's a fun gun to shoot. I would definitely recommend it. It has the tactical look without looking so much like an AR that you have to worry that some nutjob is going to call the cops if they happen to see you as you head into the woods for some hunting.

I'm told it's a long shot but Baikal may import some .22WMRs next year. If they do I will definitely have one on my list.

Thanks for the input, I have been back an forth on one for a while so I will add your info to my justification-to-buy-one pile. They look like they would be comfortable to use, even as a left handed shooter.
