.223 vs 22-250

Should probably be mentioned, if you intend on taking shots under 200 yards, look at a nice 22WM, rifles are cheap ammo is cheap and pelt damage is non existent. You wont shoot out a barrel and can spend more on accessories. I've got a HB Marlin and with Remington Premier puts 10 shots in a quarter at 100, total package with scope and bipod cost $400.
 
OK, I have another question. Are the .223, .204 Ruger, and .22-250 all considered pelt friendly? Does one stand out more than the others?
 
I have a 204 and a 22-250. The 250 will put big holes in a pelt. Havent shot one with the ruger yet but guys say pin hole in entrance no exit.
