The stance of RCMP is that all airguns are firearms. However, they state that only AGs over 500+ fps and over a certain energy are firearms that require a PAL and must be locked/treated like you would an AR15.

Read about it from the RCMP themselves here: http://www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/cfp-pcaf/fs-fd/air_gun-arme_air-eng.htm

Airguns are considered restricted firearms, can only be used on an approved range and require an ATT to transport? Might want to check up on your facts or change your example, mate.

There used to be an Airgun exchange on the EE, but for some reason(Elitist snobbery perhaps?)
it was dumped. HOW BUSH IS THAT?
Most folks that own firearms own an airgun or two. Let's get the Airgun exchange back FFS.f:P:

I have a buddy that is tweaking a 9mm on a Condor PCP frame cracking 1200fps with my 124gr cast .A toy? NOT.............Harold

I really think an Airgun EE Section would be worthwhile. While they may not be for everyone, they certainly do deserve there place in every shooters safe. Squirrels and birds are so much fun to pick off with a pellet rifle, and they are honestly so cheap to operate, they are great for someone looking for something to do all summer when the hunting is fairly slow or money is tight.
