Does anyone know if there is an MP5 10/22 dressup kit available or any semi 22's that look similar? The Rhineland arms R-22 was probably the closest but obviously they aren't making them anymore.

Just think the mp5 style goes better with the thin little .22 mags.

Wow, either this is some sort of noob post or no one is interested in an MP5 look-a-like .22

What is someone, like me, for example, were to put together an MP5 cosmetics kit......?

There was a "company" called Specter Arms in Edmonton that made what they called was the S2. It was a finished product and not a kit though. It was just a 10/22 in a kit they made themselves.

I bought a S-54 kit from Specter Arms last year, modded it and put a 10/22 inside.
Not sure if they even sell them anymore and I don't know of anyone else that has any MP5 kits for sale?

Thanks for the replies guys. I've gotta say, those things are both incredibly friggen ugly.

Just to confirm, you can have a non-restricted .22 with an 8" bbl as long as the overall length is more than 26", right? Couldn't remember if that only applied to shotguns but I know there are some really short bbl'd .22s out there.

I got one of those specter kits as well, modded it a fair bit and built my own butt stock. I think there is a post of my build here some where, (on my phone now so it's a pain to attach a photo) .

Running a NEA 9" barrel and an OAL of 26-1/2" makes for a handy little carbine.

The specter kit works but was kinda cheap, and the design leaves a bit to be desired.
