Mossberg 500 build

Got my all metal assembly today.... Must say it a bit tighter and the trigger pull is heavier...

But Overall im Happy

Well here are the long awaited pictures of the different size stocks... I installed a short L.O.P on my friend Mav88 and I love the shorter stock... I did have to get a new PRO MAG - MOSSBERG 500/590 ACTION SLIDE TUBE ASSEMBLY to accept the Hogue foregrip.


The short L.O.P for the win.... So time to upgrade my 500 to a short LOP....

Mine is on still on Back Order from brownells. But for 55.82$ for the stock and forearm , why would you want to buy it in Canada....
 
Picked up a hogue tamer pistol grip for my twelve gauge 870 express its in the mail right now, purchased off website direct, I must say great customer service, it was $56 with shipping and taxes
 
sorry for the dumb question but I saw the brownells safety and love it and was wondering how you were able to order through the states. I tried searching it with no dice. any help would be great, thanks.
 
I'm gonna jump on the short LOP stock sometime in the new year along with the forearm. The forearm is especially useful as I have a field/security combo with the "hunting" forearm which covers the receiver when in the rearward position, making a side saddle difficult to mount. Short LOP with matching forearm + 4-6 round side saddle is a good minimalist "black" shotty. And I can still throw the hunting barrel on it and hit the field without changing anything else.
 
Good News the Hogue Shot LOP stocks are back in stock and now shipping... Cant wait to get mine.... Now for the guys that don't know, The shipping charge for this stock is 25$ because of packaging size. but if you ask Brownells in the comment section to take it out of the oversize Hogue packaging and to stuff it in a USPS first class box its only 9.15 $ for shipping.

Also today the 5.11 pants I bought were 10$ cheaper on sale... I sent them an email and they refunded the 10$ difference on my C.C.

Phuck I love Brownells.
 
Sorry for the necro, but does anyone know if the Hogue forearm will fit a Mossberg 590A1 with heavy barrel and heat shield? Or will there be a function problem as a result of that?

EDIT:

Did some research and i believe i answered my own question for all those interested. It appears that the MOssberg 590A1 SPX with a heat shield would have no problem with a Hogue forend as seen here.

Just got the email from Brownells that my Magpul stock set just shipped. Cant wait to do a comparison with the Hogue that I have on there now.

Hopefully it lands before X-Mas.

Hi, pardon my ignorance, but what type of sights are on this mossy I have a couple 590's that I need to gear up with something like that for my wife and me! Cheers Bob I am thinking its a ghost ring setup, correct?

I am 6'5" and looking at this stock. I should probably get the 14" right? Also as a side what is the order max from Brownells now didn't theY increase it from $100?
