In the market for new hunting boots (considering the Irish Setter 12" Elk Tracker)
My last pair of hunting/hiking boots are a pair of Wind River that I got at Marks Workhouse about 8 or so years ago, they have to be the most comfortable, warm and completely waterproof boots I've ever owned, but I'm unable to find another pair. So, I've been checking out a number of different hunting boots online and so far, I'm considering the Irish Setter 12" Elk Tracker 860 with 1000 g thinsulate insulation, they're supposed to be completely water-proof. Any of you own these boots? Are they comfortable and warm?, and are they waterproof as stated in the description? Would you recommend a different brand over the Irish Setter?
Anyway I look forward to your opinions.
