Anyone have any experience with one of these? Very slick design and they look like a great ambidextrous solution.

I just got one for the wife (she's a lefty). So far works fine. Seems as nice as any other CH I've used. The sides aren't independent of each other...both sides cam regardless of which side you pull on (if that matters). They're pricey though...for me the BCM handle is cheaper and just as good (but I'm a righty so no need for ambi).

I am a firm believer in ambi controls on fighting guns. This seems like a very good version of Ambi CH's. I cant wait to run it.

Ok, how about this one? h ttp://www.parabellumarmament.com/pasitev2/ambi.htm I've found them for about $50 out of the US, but I can't find many reviews on it, and none with any cons of it.

I agree 100%, hence my interest in this. I'm a righty but I have run into situations where I need to operate the charging handle but I'm shooting left handed. This looks like the best solution.

The Colt Canada tac latch works fine if you can find one.

If you're talking about the latch on the C7A2, it does not work fine. Not only will it eventually sheer off the pin and break, you cannot operate the handle using the same techniques on both sides. Some guys are using an open palm to operate the charging handle which is not possible to do left handed. As well, the left side of the latch sticks out too far and catches on everything. Bottom line is it was a simple cheap solution for the CF. Nothing more.

So much hatred. I'm a lefty and I'm happy with it.

So many of them break that us gun plumbers can't even keep up and there are so many units that are ordering extra ones that we haven't been able to get any for half a year and counting.

They're pieces of sh*t.

I got the Rainier unit. It has all the signs of being a well designed and well made piece of equipment. I shoot in matches where some of the operations are made easier with the ambi control. "Showing clear" and locking the bolt open are much easier for me.
