The new Bushnell Elite 3.5-21 vs Vortex PST 6-24 Thoughts?

I agree with everything you said 100%. If a scope isn't durable, repeatable, and reliable, then sparking optical clarity is of little use to me.

That's what I meant when I said that "that's the case with all scopes". Physics dictates that when something inside a circle hits the interior of the circular wall, it must travel along the wall in a circular arc ;) Like I said, some manufacturers prevent the erector from moving along the circular scope tube wall by engineering a "stop" or rectangular box within the scope tube, that the erector cannot pass when it hits the scope tube's interior circular wall, resulting in the erector tracking in an apparent rectangle or square box. But you already know all this.

If the SWFA was available in Canada for a little more money than the PST, I would have gone that route. But it's not. The best we can do is to figure out how much adjustment we realistically have, and go with that.

The G2DMR reticule, not before next spring i was told, just received a call from the manager, so will see then, if i still want one... JP.

Dare I recommend R P S int'l but I did just purchase some TPS X-low 30mm rings from them. They are not cheap but try finding them elsewhere and then report back to me when you've found a dealer.

Alberta Tactical also has TPS.

TPS isn't cheap, but it's cheap compared to Nightforce, Ferris (SP?), NEAR, etc.

New to this sport and went with TPS because it's as good, at a discounted price.

Rings are around $125. Not sure what sizes are available for 35mm.

Yeah I saw ATRS and wouldn't hesitate going with them. I bought the steel ones and payed $162 all in.

If only Burris would combine their tactical rings with the signature Zee rings... :jerkit:

I ended up with Seekins Precision 34mm 6/4 cap screw lows. Just arrived so will be mounting the HDMR g2dmr this weekend to my 5r. Hopefully weather and wife permitting ill be out at the range.
