Norinco T97 Non Restricted PRESALE!

Yup I have a couple of M305s and one was finicky. Once you work on them they are great. The other one was great out of the box and I still use it for hunting.

The Norinco AR on the other hand I have had several thousand rounds through it with no stoppages. Very accurate and I have beat a ton if guys at matches running very expensive ARs with it. Maybe I am just a better shot. :) One thing is for certain they are ultra reliable. Not just mine but everyone I have shot or anyone I have shot with who owns one says the same.

I have been told by a dealer that they are overbuilt and don't come back for repairs as much as most other brands. Sure if I had a choice to buy a Knights or Noveske for the same price I would but the Norinco AR is still very faithful.

Well said.

However it would be great if you could keep perpetuating the myth that norcs are junk. I missed out on the t97 presale and am trying to get on the wait list so if you Blaxsun, TDC and the others could do me a solid and talk a few people out of buying the T97 that would be swell.

I have shot norc AR's and thought they were junk... My opinion of course.

I couldn't disagree more with this comment. My Norc AR runs flawless. Finish is not as smooth as the other ARs I've had/handled for sure, but I'm not the type of person who wants to pay a cheap price and then expects to have a premium and perfect product. That is un-realistic and naive.

Here is a good un-biased review by someone who has a lot more experience with various firearms than I do:

Personally, my experience with all different kinds of Norc firearm copies (handguns, shotguns, SKS and ARs) have made me a fan. Glad the Americans don't want it cuz prices wouldn't be nearly as low if they did. Don't get me wrong, I still prefer to save n splurge on the good ol American made premiums, but I have no problem having another set of Norcs to make pretty and kick around for backup. Plus their ammo is (was) amazing for the price. Too bad that stock looks like its run out and will no longer be available at those ridiculously low prices.

If the T97 is of comparable quality and reliability to Norc's other firearms, we are definitely in for a treat.

+1 couldn't agree more.
I have a ChiCom SKS. It runs as well as my two Soviets. An unstoppable beast of a carbine. And it was $169! Brand new, never fired.
And my experience with Norinco ammo has been very good as well.
Experience has made me a fan...and I've never heard a bad thing said about the Norinco AR's or M14 clones at my range. These guys love their guns, that's for sure.

Shut up all of you! Shut your filthy mouths! Norinco are terrible! They are made from pot metal and infants ! Do not buy them, cancel your preorder and let me bear the burden of shooting these T97 abominations!

Isn't the whole bloody point of having mil-spec so that you can be rough with it and it still works. SERIOUS rifle for the range is an oxymoron.

Low rider SUV crowd. Don't get that 4x4 DIRTY. Have mercy
I bought a Norc M305 last year and it gave me problems so i got rid of it, but that isn't going to stop me from buying this rifle. I have an AR for my "serious" rifle that i can take to the range. The T97NSR on the other hand is going to be perfect to taking to the cabin and shooting in the woods. I won't have to be worried about scratching the finish or being too rough with it. Fun rifle at a fun price, so as long as she functions well il be a happy camper.

I respect your comment. Even the guy in the video says the workmanship is somewhat crappy... tool markings etc... Maybe I'm a perfectionist... I don't really know. I do know I'm not a fan of Norinco AR's... I wouldn't turn down a free one :) Just would rather save up enough for the real deal.

I don't think Ryan would mind if you paid in full. Just remember, the payment entitles you to a rifle when it arrives and NOT the right to :bigHug::bigHug::bigHug::bigHug::bigHug: and complain if they don't show up when they are expected :)

CanAm rifles are different!

It could be if you pre ordered for the older one which was classified as prohibited. In that case you just signed up for a rifle you will never get.

Hi Guys,

Can you let me know if Canam has confirmed that the ones on their site are in fact different than the planned North Sylva model. In which case I would like to additionally sign up with a vendor that has ordered from that incoming stock.

My prediction is that they will be the exact same, only some dealers will try to start rumours that can't be proven or dis-proven to make theirs look unique. Think of what Marstar did with the m14b in 2009. Now of course they could say I don't know wtf I'm talking about because of XYZ reasons, but the end product they delivered a year late appeared to be exactly the same, despite marstar saying that it would be 'more up to their quality standards'.

and that is likely why they aren't asking for payment to hold, to keep the whiny CGNers out of their inbox...a business has more beneficial things to do with their time then waste their time reading emails complaining about things out of their control. I know, I am one of them, when I paid in advance for a Tavor with the understanding it would be at my door within 6 weeks. 3 months later and no rifle, I definitely had the right to :bigHug::bigHug::bigHug::bigHug::bigHug:...but without a down payment I would not have. Different dealer, yes a sponsor, and they lost my business because of it.
