Maverick 88 front pistol grip?!

You need to switch out the forend including rails to a 500 one, then you can run whatever 500 accessory you want. Stocks and barrels interchange fine between the 88 and 500 but not foregrip

Yep, there is a metal tube, and different action bars that is needed to convert the Maverick 88 into a 500.

Even a lot of the 500's come with just a plastic forend I believe, and it's just the wood or tactical models that have the real thing these days.

So I have a mossberg 500 as well that runs a regular forearm. Are y'all saying I can just swap the slide (part where my hand goes?) and the bars? Or is it the whole tube mag that has to switch?

If its just the grip and bars ill change it up and buy the front grip I want for a 500.

Thanks all

just the grip and bars,Or action slide assembly, only differents between the 2 is that on the maverick the bars are attached to the forearm IIRC.

Oh,and the safety is in a differnt place on the maverick.
