Holy smokes is this grip the most tactical thing ever?

Rivetc makes a reasonable point though. The firearms industry is especially bad for copying designs and concepts between companies. I mean, I wouldn't call the Tavor a knockoff of the Aug, but some people could. Same goes for the M&P and the Glock

Yes and Glock sued S&W over the Sigma, which was a blatant copy of Glock design, and Glock would have easily won if S&W didn't push to settle out of court.

The Sigma series pistols are so similar to the competing Glock pistols that Glock sued Smith & Wesson for patent infringement. The case was settled out of court in 1997, with S&W agreeing to make alterations to the Sigma design and pay an undisclosed amount to Glock.[1]

Many other companies have successfully patented their products and sued for copyright infringement. If we didn't allow innovators to protect their designs nobody would invest in R&D they would just sit around pouching the next great design off KAC, DD or VLTOR.

Rivtec just hates Magpul. As well, in many other threads he has denounced China for "copies" of products IE the M4, even though the patents expired DECADES ago, meanwhile we have US companies ripping off current designs and because they are someone stealing business from magpul and have some Call of Duty product description they get a pass?

... Right.

I have denounced china for copies?? I use the China copies!

Everything is made in China. You think Magpul is made in the USA?? HAHAHA

Just about everything used to assemble AR's is made in a 'Asian' country.

So it is o.k to 'Knock-off' once the patent expires? That makes it so much better....?

I see this...

... and I think of this ...

Not going to kid but I think the bottom pic might be more ergonomic and tactical ;).

The afg in itself is a gimmick, its too low and event the magpul guys don't use it. A stubby vertical grip is usually enought or simply a hand stoper

Did anyone see the christmas miracle that XTM panels and handstops are actually shipping?

Is there any truth to this? I have 3 on pre order but Brownells still shows them as pre order only.

In the meantime I have since ditched the AFG's in favor of small vert grips like the RVG, always liked the look of the AFG but never did quite feel right in my hand.
