Anyone hear about a huge deer shot in Sask? (warning NO pics, just asking)

Yesterday a hunter told me that some guy shot a 207 ish B&C whitetail near Lanigan Saskatchewan. Has anyone else heard anything about this, or better yet have pics?

I try not to be a rumour monger, but the old boy who told me is a trustworthy guy.

There is one in the front of cabelas here(saskatoon) no idea what it scored but was supposedly alot

What happened to the nose?? Looks like it was left out for the coyotes and ravens to pick clean.

As the story was relayed to me, it apparently took the hunter a few days to locate it and wolves got to it in the interim. This is really all the info I have, so apologies for not being able to answer any questions.

The crew from Driven TV took one this year while filming at Buck Paradise Outfitters that was a 170 plus that was over 350 pounds on the hoof. Buddy who chums with a guide there sent me some pics, said it was the heaviest bodied Whitetail he has ever seen. I know the rack looked small in the pics for a 170 plus because the deer was such a pig in size!!

Wow that meadow lake one is impressive. I wonder how it scored?

I'll do a little asking around and see if I can come up with more info on the Lanigan buck.

This deer was taken between Craven and Lumsden this year. I don't know any other details.

I would guess that Meadow Lake buck at 190 gross and that trail cam buck at easily 200 or over.

there was a big one taken near lanigan. I got it in an email. Very nice typical with a few stickers. Not sore about the score but 207 doesn't sound unreasonable. I'll try to post pics from my email.

This is the email I got. No info was given along with it. Beauty of a deer. I could see it grossing about 207 and netting low 190's.

So far I have seen the Meadow Lake buck from Frontier,Blain Lake,and now Meadow Lake.It is up on the B and C website.

Amazing the similarities in brow tines on the Meadow Lake deer and the Frontier buck both have sticker points on the deers left antler and both curve in the same way and appear to be the same length.The tag appears to be in the same place as well.Could be a coincidental.
