Always wanted a 10mm, just ordered a carbine...

At least you'll have some brass to get started reloading. It really brings out the potential of the cartridge. I get 1350fps with a 180grn hornady xtp from a 5" barrel I am curious to see what I get out of that 19"!

If you go by ballistic by the inch the tendency is to improved out of an 18 inch barrel an average of 240 fps, so that should put you reload just south of 1600 fps and would give you a potential of 1010 pounds + energy, we are talking here, potent deer and black bear medecine... JP.
 
Not to mentionned that B reloads would be on par with a 357 mag out of a carbine with 10 fast follow up shots... JP.
 
I'm pretty sure you will find pictures of the various models on Thureon Defenses's web page.
Armseast has pictures of their model and Ellwoodeps the other.

Oh no... You didn't get the 1st. Gen. round handguard model did you Camel? They are the JRC carbine problems all over again. You want the 2nd. Gen. octagon forearmed one with the monolithic rails like I have on order.

they still make both round and octagonal. the round is the base model rifle.
The octagonal with full length rail is only nessesary if you want irons or the ability to mount tacticool stuff

Rifles and shotguns problems are never a problem for me, that why i like to buy new from a reputable dealer, they will take care of you if there is a problem, my family and friends are healthy and happy the rest is only little pebbles in the road... Cheers. JP.

The way, i understand it the octogonal handguard is an option factory installed for 69.00 dollars, on their site the octo HG is for rails ant picinnity so you can mount the iron sight, the rifle is not a first or second gen, just options... JP.
 
Just ordered some Prvi 10mm HP 180gr ammo from that new guy on banner Budget Ammo, prices are good and the guy is funny, great transaction... JP.
 
I was strolling tru # and energy tables when it struck me this 10mm round have more energy @ 100 yards than a 45 ACP @ the muzzle, i was very impress to learn that... JP.
