Are the only options for the .17 HMR hollow points or ballistic tip? I have been shooting Grouse with the hornady ballistic tips but i'm looking for something that won't explode on impact if I happen to hit the breast meat by mistake.
I have known people to take rimfire shells appart for investigative purposes, has anyone ever reseated a different bullet? I am thinking it would not be a very safe procedure but perhaps I am wrong.
