I want to tactical my cz 858 ?

Instead of buying the cz 858 and spend $200-$300 on stock and grips why not just buy a CSA vz 58. They are $849

Safety, at least to me, flips the wrong way. Granted I just use the stock fixed and folding stocks on my '58s. The Fab grip and NEA handguards are great tho!

Funny. after using my CSA 11" model when training at the indoor range this last 3 months the old school safety on the CZ feels 'the wrong way' now :) So i replaced my non res with a CSA too so they are both the same.

I see your point, granted I have not spent much time with CSA's at all. Just need to train the muscle memory I guess. Same as myself growing up with a Mossberg 500 and now preferring a 870 or Auto-5.

Would it kill you to get some accurate information before throwing your morality at others ?
You sound like an anti with that logic .

No, I sound like a canadian that wants to keep people off unemployment. 2 years ago it was a bad situation in British Columbia. My company laid everybody off except 5 people I was a lucky one I watch people lose their homes.

sorry to hear that, but if the only place selling what others are looking for is in another country, then why blame them from buying there? I'd love to spend my money in Canada, and I would even if I had to pay a little extra, but we never have anything in stock! very frustrating.

Well ya if they are sold out then go for it. If I don't get a cz 858 for Christmas I will be getting one too. Hopefully I don't hang to many lasers and flashlights.

And what does that have to do with accusing the Israelis of child labour and in general not knowing what you're talking about?

its bad when we can buy fab defence from israel and get it shipped here for cheaper then what we would have to pay from a canadian vender and it a big price difference

Fab Defense is an Israeli company, made in Israel. Zahal buys direct, most likely in bulk so there are zero middle men taking their piece of the pie. I have no problem supporting Israel. Especially when they offer the lowest prices with better customer service than most Canadian companies. They'll bend over backwards to make sure youre happy then act like you did them the favour. Zahal FTW!

Seriously is this all you ever have to input. Stuff is way too expensive. You joined the wrong fvcking hobby then man!!

I don't have any problem spending 1k on a watch because its quality and (to me) its worth it.

Spending 200-250$ on a muzzle brake (because the cheapest one (clamp on for the 870) is this price) is just plain BS like the 199$ Monster's HDMI cables. The item cost 1-30$ to make and close to nothing in R&D.

Its just abusive. But at least its a tactical abuse.

If its worth that much to you, good for you but know that you are getting ripped off by these companies.

Well what r ya gonna do about it??
Nothing can be done cuz its not something like going to best buy or future shop to grab what ya need. Its a little more of a niche market and with that comes cost. You wanna specialize your car???, thatll cost ya. You wanna upgrade a rifle, thatll cost ya. This isnt make in taiwan crap. This is battle tested and proven sh!t. Thatll cost ya.

Sounds like your financial priorities are not geared toward guns. Not that thats a problem but some of us dont mind paying for quality where we want it when it comes to our guns. I just traded a CZ-858 and over 1K cash for a Nightforce, and spent $180 for Nightforce rings because thats what I wanted. Not everyone would ever spend that much on a scope, some would spend much more. For me its worth it for the type of shooting I do with the particular rifle its now sitting on. I do agree some of Zahal's stuff is very expensive but given their pricing on most other things Id say these items cost them alot to source. The $300 brake I would never buy, there are good options made in Canada for less than 1/4 the price. Their Fab Defense stuff is dirt cheap compared to Canadian sources. Its all relative.

Quit fighting. Anyone who says buy canadian is a hypocrite. Id like to see their cars...its impossible to buy everything canadian...if I can buy a gun acessory in another country and pay half, I will...Doesn't mean I don't buy other parts from caadian sellers. Like rifles, ammo, mags....ayways ebay and zahal have great prices for accesssories....
