M41a pulse rifle for 223?

I'd really like a working Aliens pulse rifle. However I'd like it in 223.
Any Canadian geeks know of any?

The M41A was built using a Thompson SMG in .45. .223 is almost twice as long.

It wouldn't look right in .223 no matter how you did it.

Since it was built on a thompson action, I doubt you'll see one in 223, even more doubtful, you'd see a firing version up here (too bad, I think alot of geeks would love to have one)

I dunno, I can see a heavily modded version of the H&K SL-8 working a little, combined with an 870 on a drop rail that might work. Would cost an arm and a leg tho

Maybe try basing it off of a JR Carbine or Thureon Carbine.

Buy an airsoft pulse rifle Chassie, then JB weld in a Norinco M4. There made at the same factory any ways.
