Share Your Tavor Pics! (I painted mine!)

Maybe I'm old fashion coz I much prefer this one =o)

So what did you use to paint it? It looks almost like you dyed the plastic.

Curious as I've never found a paint yet that will handle sweat and abuse that a rifle goes through.

Vimy Ridge wins a prize! Dispatches was my bible all through journalism school and my embedded exercises.

Mugen, the top is just Tavor black, but I'm quite pleased with it.

Thorvald, that's arma-coat (site sponsor)

TommyCanada: tell me more about your light?

Pilot 2001: The NVD does really well. But it can be situation dependent as to whether it needs the inforce light's IR output. Close range its fine, but further out I'd want to be using the illuminator. I'd call this setup "confident at 100yds in total darkness" but I wouldn't feel safe pushing past that. Considering thats a rifle mounted monocular with IR assistance and an IR sight for less than $2500 I'm pretty pleased with it.

Everything else? That's what FLIR thermals are for: ;)

Cerakote is to firearms like peanut butter is to jelly.

There's a number of different application type of Cerokote, each with their specific application purposes. Just pick the right one for the different pieces of your firearms and you'll be good to go for a long time!

Money well spent IMO.

@TV
The light is made my L3 insight (EOTech) its their new-ish line of AA battery operated weapons lights. 150 lumen with full on, momentary on, and strobe mode.
SUPER THIN light, and has "paddles"in the back of the light to actuate it, so, when your left hand in on the lower handguard, your finger can manipulate the light without moving your grip. Also, it attaches to the rail with a quick throw lever, which is nice too..
Im very pleased with it.. I know what your thinking after looking at my Tavor... I should get EOTech to sponsor me! lol
