My 10/22 Build (DAR 22)

Hey Dilly... your gun looks good! Glad you are happy with the results... ours were the opposite... we tried three different Tac-Sol barrels and they all shot like crappola! But, I did like the finish and loved the weight of the Tac-Sol's... I have one Whistle Pig aluminum sleeved barrel that can shoot... but it is currently sitting on my shop shelf waiting for a new receiver home. Our Dlask barrels, on the other hand, have been great... still working on our new Dlask Tacticals though... they are running good but we are still tweaking them for accuracy... I know we can do better with them... as our 12.5's are super accurate after tuning... most guys at the range are impressed with the accuracy we are getting now but, I keep saying wait and see... just a little more work and they will be dialed in for groups.
 
I cant wait to see if my groups improve after the trigger job and Kidd bolt upgrade... I also just ordered The POD-LOC for both of my Harris S-BRM... I was quite shock both of my Harris BRM sold in 5 minutes on the EE.... My 2 Harris did cost me 80$ to upgrade with the POD-LOC... But Brownells did ship all 4 items together....

Im still pissed about this whole bipod situation... lol... Should of researched more, wait I did do research last year and ended up buying an Atlas... lol....
 
Got a few more parts in today.... The Volquartsen 10/22 target hammer dropped my trigger pull to 2 1/2 Lbs and I also installed the T.S Extended mag release and The V.Q auto bolt release.... All im waiting for now is my Kidd Bolt and Kidd cocking handle.

New package from Brownells today. Harris S-BMR with POD-LOC. What a difference. Still doesn't compare to my Atlas. But its much better then the non S models. Still waiting on Fabsports for my Kidd Bolt .... Hopefully 2 more weeks and it will be here.

Well my build is done. Just installed the last pieces. VQ Firing pin, Extractor and Power customs extended bolt handle.

I like the PC Extended handle, I don't hit the turret on the P-22 anymore....

well Fabsports dropped the ball again... So since Joe Brooks was listed on the Kidd website I gave them a call...

Guess what everything I wanted was in stock... weird...

So i finality have a Kidd Bolt on the way.... woot woot....
 
Hey Dilligaf, where abouts do you go to shoot this? That clearing up on E.Torbrook?? I left a target up there tacked to a tree on the right when looking across the clearing, on a 5 ft tree stump. My 10/22 has about $1000 into it as it sits now and my new barrel should be here in Februaryish, which will put me into the almost $1400 range.
