I see a lot of it - blocky, ugly, plastic POS, but reliable etc etc. I don't think it's ugly, at least mine is not :)

I swore up and down I'd never get one. "They're ugly" I said. Bought a beretta, a 1911, a sig, a revolver and an xd9.....well, it grew on me. I started looking it up on you tube. I started checking 'em out at stores and finally, the other day, I got one from wanstalls. Their simplicity and blockiness is actually nice. Like a woman that's not so much "model gorges" but rather just right, confident and very, very capable.

yours is not... most others are

the standard Glock I find very angular and I do not like them. The RTF is the only one that I would buy all because of the slide serrations

Wow all that about a piece of plastic, hmm? lol
For years i was against them as there looks ……well lets say they look “blocky”. I knew they function (even the Swiss droop the Si____s for them) but i only had to try once…..
I have 3 Glocks now, one more on order (FDE blink blink), made few friends buy them…….long story very short : “They ugly like sin but one can take it apart using a bobby pin and back to full function without being mechanically inclined (sorry 1911s) or a gunsmith…” If only people will understand is still a combat/service pistol and not a target one.

Matter of opinions. I say they're fugly. I would not be seen with one because I like steel.
If one was given to me, I'd sell it right away and drink it (scotch, of course).
That said, good folks I respect - and great shooters too - love them plastic toys.
Bottom line, who cares? If it makes you tinkle pink, shoot the darn thing and be happy.
Be safe & tight groups

They may be the ultimate in reliability, but they look like a Kleenex box with a handle. They have no character. Now, a 1911 ... Just looks ###y.

I don't like "plastic" guns. But I do like the look of a Glock, and they have a proven track record.
I shoot them well, or at least as well as my real guns.
So, a 17, 19(non-bubba barelled), or a 35, are on my short list.:)

Don’t mind me but what “real” guns are we talking about here?
