Anybody know off the top of their head of the most compact and still legal tactical pump shotgun? Is 18" the shortest barrel allowed in Canada? Is there also a minimum overall length?
8.5" barrel on an 870 Action with a full stock to best of my knowledge.
Farmer, do you have the source for that? It's my understanding (from my now-lost RCMP sheet) that NR firearms must retain an overall length of 26", but the sheet did not stipulate that the barrel must make up 18.5" of that length.
So is this Dominion Arms 870 the same as a Remington 870, and the barrel is what makes it that short?
My question is why is this thread in here, you would likely get more answers faster in the ither forum. :>)

What's the benefit of having such a short barrel? How well do these things shoot? You would loose significant velocity no?
