Anyone have any experience with these bullets. Especially the flat based hunting ones.

Are they good, bad, or ugly ???

Thanks

They are excellent hunting billets, soft enough to expand to over twice their diameter, bonded incredibly well to maintain their weight, and the rebated base bullets work the same.

Have posted these pictures before, however here they are again.

This is a 270 gr 9.3 that retained almost 90% of its weight, 241.5 gr, after breaking the shoulder joint, crushing two vertebrae, and penetrating the far shoulder blade on this huge old bear.

Also used one to kill a nice big mountain caribou bull, and hoping to get a woods bison this winter using them.

You won't be disappointed. They are very accurate, just plain work, and made in Canada!

Looks like they work just fine. Awesome bear !

X2. I've used them in a few different rifles and have found them to be incredibly accurate. Haven't had a chance to try them on game yet, but am sure I won't be disappointed. Might have to go for bear this spring and try them out.
He has some VLD's, and possibly others that are not listed on the site yet (last time I looked, anyway), so might be best to send him an email or call to see if he has what you're looking for. I've met him a few times (lives about 20 min away from me), and he's a great guy to deal with.

I hope to be placing an order with them early in the new year for everything from 22 cal to 30 cal that they make in a hunting bullet. I am looking forward to using a quality Canadian made hunting bullet for both hunting and range use. It is nice to see real world results instead of paper or Internet hype, thanks Ted.

I will for sure, I hadn't heard of these as I never used to spend much time in the net, and pretty much stuck to Nosler and the like... I am looking forward to working up a load for my FN built mauser in -06 with these along with my Voere, I am awaiting a new barrel for the Voere though... Sadly....

Do you know how long these guys have been in business?

No, I really don't. Copyright date on the website says 2010 but don't know how long they were going prior to that. Their gallery shows pictures from 2007.

Their prices are pretty much the same as what I purchase locally (Berger, Hornady...). Then add shipping to It. This is really the only thing that's kept me from trying them. However, it's eating at my conscience lately because I'm the guy who always preaches about supporting the little guy and domestic products, ingenuity, etc............ Aw hell, I'll send an order after Christmas too. Always good to shake things out with you Bill!:D
