Ultimate Clip Loader: Anyone Else with Experiance with this Magazine Loader?

I purchased one of these Ultimate Clip Loader

and brought it to the range today to be used with my Norinco M93 (Colt Woodsman clone) and found it a complete waste of money.
I properly followed the instructions and it cant even load one round into the magazine. Adding some lubricant (graphite grease didnt help either.

I'm wondering if anyone else had such luck with their loader or am I just simply missing out on something?
 
I think there might be several versions of colt woodsman mags that are not interchangable....perhaps it doesnt work with all versions

If its of no use to you, let me know what you want for it

My son uses one and it sure saves the skin on your fingers when reloading for Speed Steel.
It required some adjustment so the 10th round rested into the Mag of the Ruger Mk III.

There is a YouTube video. When I first looked at it everything appeared too Simple.
They literally fall into place.
 
When I got mine it would work, but it would take a lot of tapping and shaking to make it do anything. I tried a graphite spray lube, but it didn't help. I opened it up and after I cleaned the graphite out I tried a silicone spray lube, and that fixed it. By the way, I also use it with a Ruger MKIII, I'm not familiar with the Woodsman myself.
 
I've been using one for two years for my Buckmark, it works great. Stay away from ammo with a waxy or sticky lube. I've run mine through the dishwasher to clean it.
 
I use mine with Blazer solid lead and copper coated as well.... Both work equally well but I thoroughly clean them as well as adding a blast of Teflon spray...failing that I use Breakfree spray.... There is a bit of a technique...as well as holding the UCL so the scored line is horizontal try to keep the UCL plumb at the same time.

You will shoot more ammo... :)

I got one for me Mk III 22/45, awesome thing. Saves my thumbs, and you burn through bricks fast. What seems to be the problem? There are youtube videos showing you how to use it.

Why do you need to use lube? There are no moving parts. Only the magazine follower should be moving.
 
Perfect right out of the bag for 4+ ruger 22/45 mags .. Read the instructions .. Watch the you tube vids .. And focus on the level line that is on the unit .. Has to be kept level ..
 
Have it for my Ruger MKiii, works great and I wouldn't shoot nearly as many rounds on a range trip without it.
 
I have a couple and use them for my 22/45's

Only get 9 in though, the 10th falls back into the bulk pack. Still great & worth it.

Adjust the screw. You want to increase the length you are depressing the "Thumb Burner" and it will take the 10th round.

PS: quite understandable as it is a guy thing not to read the instructions.
 
Problem here is something called "reading" as the instructions clearly state " for Ruger Mark II & III, and Browning Buckmark pistols". No mention of any other makes/ models.

You may be right, my Woodsman is made by Norinco. A closer examination appears that the lips are not wide enough to let the rounds fall in freely.

The consensus appears that most people have had a good experience with this loader with Ruger Mark II or III pistols. I couldn't find a video on Youtube with the clip loader being used on a Woodsman.

Thanks for offering to take it off of my hands, but since I've never had the loader work before, I'm not sure if the problem is my fault, a comparability issue, or the loader is simply defective. If there is a chance of it being latter, I can't hand it over to you in good conscious.

I guess I have an excuse to pick up a Ruger Mark III now.

how much do norinco woodsman mags cost? i'd imagine taking a bit of material off that loading notch thingy (offical name? i think so) so that it feeds correctly should work? also, do you think colt woodsman mags will fit into your norinco? could be an option
