Hi all, is the 100th anniversary (###/250) worth the $1300 ?? what will be the value of the gun, let's say in 10 years ??

That's kind of the risk that you have to take. No one will be able to tell you for a fact. But it you look at past things, like limited production cars and whatnot.. They all hold their value.

It's just a risk you have to be willing to take. And if you're keeping it as an investment, and wouldn't ever shoot it, there are many other things that would return a higher gain.

Personally, I wouldn't be able to have something like that and NOT shoot it.

As a collectable you might be better off with an original Colt 100 year Anniversary model, it is a lot closer to the original pre-1924 1911's. There are some of these out there for sale if you look around.
