I bought my first AR and boy am I excited. XM-15 MOE. I bought it because up here in Northern Ontario if store is gonna stock that kind of stuff, I'm going to support them.
I am surprised as the barrel is stamped 5.56 and it has they bayo lug on it. I thought ITAR didnt allow this IWRCI wont even send me a range bag and they claim ITAR.
It came with one mag, they said they have a bunch on order and will hold some aside for me, but i'm worried their supplier will not deliver. I'm not going to spend 100 dollars a pop on Pmags, sorry EE.
So from all the stuff going on, and speculating that they wont export all kinds of stuff to us. What are the odds they stop export of ambi safetys and mag releases, I'm a lefty and this gun doesnt have ami anything.
I also want the bushmaster A3 detachable carry handle, but I suspect their are not many in canada. Anyone know where I can get one?
2 weeks ago, I was convincing my anti friends I should be able to shoot an AR anywhere I can shoot any other gun. Now they are looking at me like a killer for wanting one.
