I'm not an AR guy by no means. Nor do I really know about the features and accessories. What I do know is, they are. 223 cal and the Bushmaster comes with a red dot attached. FYI they have 12 on the shelf.

If your interested call Todd at Sylvestres in Bonnyville AB.

Just thought I would pass this on to to Gunnutz

The supply is definitely going to dry up here without regular shipments to replenish dealer stock here in the US. I wouldn't be surprised at all if all imports of AR's (in particular) stopped flowing up North as US manufacturers struggle to meet the demands of their domestic customer base. Right now, ignoring any inate sense of partriotism you may have, it's simply more profitable to sell domestically.

You are posting promoting a dealer not on CGN - fail (no one has even heard of that store anyway)

You obviously posted because people have a concern over supply....otherwise? Why Post it?

Again. Your post is a fail.

Not saying anything here...............

But it is great you are here on our community. Lots of great information here to be read. Take your time and ask questions.
Being new to Black Rifles might be over whelming at first. But many here can help.

Not if the manufactures promised new stocks for Canadian retailers in 2013. Relationship is more important in the long run when it comes to business.

Anyways.

I think I have to get one. I like the DPMS TAC2.... I can just make my own.
Install a front sight post and install a longer forearm...Bingo! Upgrade Stock / Grip combo of course.

I have the parts. Just need a rail. Rifle will still be under $950 if a Magpul MOE is used, $1050 for Troy.

probably not.. LOL..

You are right, I was getting ahead of myself. The Canadian ones currently have a lo-pro gas block.
I got it backwards. I would need to install a front sight post.

What long run? What relationships? The US manufactures will either be out of business or marketing entirely new model lines if a new AWB comes in. Bushmaster will basically be non-existent, along with a great many other manufacturers. These companies will make all they can to support domestic demand that will pay more on a wholesale level. Business is business and they'll simply go where the money is. If they have excess supply (highly unlikely at this point) it'll go to other markets.

Basically, if any of our distributors/dealers don't have product built and ready for shipment, you can bet those putstanding orders will be cancelled or delayed at best. Either way, a best case scenario is that we have a temporary shortage. Worst case, supply will dry up here and will not be replenished.

Well it all depends, I heard Texas will essentially veto any bill in there state, not sure if that makes sense or if they have the ability to do that....
