On our last day in the shop before the Christmas holidays, we have received a beautiful gift in the mail from Wilson Claus:

Fresh across the border from Wilson Combat's Scattergun Technologies facility, we just got in a big chunk of these Border Patrol combat 12ga shotguns in three colors -- OD Green, Black, and Grey. We have been in queue for these for a little over a year and it is amazing to see these finally walk into our shop.

For those unaware, Scattergun Technologies is one of the oldest names in customized tactical shotguns for law enforcement and civilian shooters, and have been under the wing of Wilson Combat for quite some time now. They are top tier 870-type shotguns that come hand-honed internally and Armor-Tuff finished for an unequaled smoothness on the action. The Border Patrols have the Scattergun Technologies/Trijicon illuminated tritium ghost ring/ramp sights, high visibility low-friction followers, jumbo safety, etc. Very little has not been worked over on these guns.


We have a few of each color in stock right now and we will be more than happy to ship these out the minute we get back in the shop!

A $1500 870.............seriously........what kind of wiggle room do you got on the price cause that is freakin retarded.

it's not just your average 870. it's been worked over, tightened up and smoothed out man it's a gorgeous kit and well made (worked on)... sigs are almost double (some more than double) the cost of a glock, but people still buy sigs.
 
They're not Remington, they're 'Scattergun Technologies' and they are also very pricey in the US.
I believe not readily available in Canada before.

Nice gun, but me personally, for that kind of money I'd want to be in Semi-Auto territory.
At any rate, I'm sure several folks will be interested. It's nice that the option to buy is there :)

They are 870's of course... what I meant was that a big part of the price is in the status of owning a Wilson Combat.

Any Dominion is a peice of turd compared to a real 870.... trust me, ive worked over dozens of them trying to make the run as smooth as my express and they just arent as good. Dont get me wrong, the dominions are a good gun, but they do have kinks and issues that the 870's dont, they are a work horse and a fun gun and that its..... I dont care what anyone says, they are not as good as an express, let alone a Remmy police or a Wilson Combat, and after all the years of dealing with these imported shotguns, I'll never own another one, and I would never depend on one for safety.

As for the Wilsons, I'm a pump guy and I'd buy one in a second if I had the cash. If you dont like the price, dont buy it.... and if you think that your dom is just as good, thats your opinion. Its wrong!!! But your entitled to it..... so have a wonderful life with your awesome imported $300.00 boomstick and I'll safe my coins and buy a real, well put together, reliable firearm that I can depend on.

The value is there.... you just have to open your eyes and know where to look.

Well I'm not going to completely derail the thread to bicker about our difference so have fun with that one.

For Wanstalls tho, is there some wiggle room on the price??
 
I didn't know we could haggle with retailers?!? and i've been paying full price for everything I buy? crap..
