snap cap; should I use them

I own a cz 75 sp01 shadow, should I use snap cap? Is it going to do something bad if I don't?

But on a serious note they are cheap, so just get em if you worry. I don't use em but I would if I had some.

Not necessary to dry fire but are handy to insert in magazine to help you deal with flinching..

Also for function tests. I gotta tweak some mags for my 1911. Snap caps are gold because I can cycle them through.

I use mine for function check after cleaning and flinching control.

At the very least they will no doubt lengthen the life of your firing pin if you carry out dry firing practice.

This is a very commonly used tool in hammerless hinge action shotguns that automatically #### the action on opening the gun and the barrel (s) are lowered. Because broken firing pins become very expensive to replace in this style of shotgun.

I'm a believer that a guy should have snap caps for every caliber of firearm he owns, these are great for practicing your trigger control and to fight against the dreaded flinch.
