+1 on the Talleys. Just got a set for my T3 from Prophet River. Great guys to deal with and fantastic one piece rings. My vote is for the Talleys.
If you are looking towards the Burris Zee Rings, you will need to look into Weaver bases for the rings to mount to. I have used them in the past and worked well. However I now prefer a one piece design. YMMV

Easy to work with, easy on the scope tubes and easy on the eyes.
Yes, they are cheaper than a burris ring + base combo. The Talley Lightweights from prophet river are about $44 IIRC, the signature Zee rings when I bought some back in '05 were about $60.
I had both, and you can't really go wrong either way, but you'll want to lap the Talleys if you get them (note, bottom half of ring only).
Just checked Prophet River. Talley lightweight rings for a Savage are $47.00.
Also checked Cabelas Canada. Burris Signature Zee rings, 1" and medium height are 54.99. Weaver bases would run you roughly a total of $10.
