Hey guys
just read another post where the OP sent his M93 to get warrenty for possible spring.
I just returned from range and took my 1911 and M93, shot 150 rounds from 1911 no issues but as I switched to M93 after say twenty or so it stopped cycling on its own and the slide would stick in open , for it to close after clearing it I have to tap the rear of the slide then it would go forward....ended my range trip.
anyways if it is a spring where would I be able to get springs for this firearm ?
thanks
Glenn.

Is the gun dirty? Is it brand new? Did you strip it and give it an inspection and a wipe down/lube before shooting? What kind of ammo were you using? Did you only try one type? Rimfire pistols usually like higher velocity ammo. Were you feeding it cheap crap? There are way too many unanswered questions for any of us to make judgement. Clean it and try some different ammo first.

Obviously Marstar would be where to start looking for parts.

You may be better off buying a new one, and keeping the old one for parts.

ok lets see.
gun not so new and has had a few hundred rounds already,
wiped it down before shooting not dirty and stripped it down at home and still doing it
Winchester® 555 Value Pack ammo mixed with left over Federal Champion 22LR 525 Round Value Pack
I was thinking at first that it was catching on something but not sure untill I saw another post about a possible spring problem.
I'll go over it again and wipe the crap out of it,
I don't plan on shooting this gun alot as I bought it for wife as she thought it was nice looking and perfect for her, but figured since I was going out I may as well give it a run.
should have left it home and taken ruger with my 1911 would have been a better day...
Glenn.

Well I thought I'd take another shot at it and OMG
everything working great...put some snap caps in it and cycled it throught a bunch of caps and over and over again everthing went fine.
It does feel tighter when I pull on the slide so maybe the spring wasnt in its correct seating or I dislodged some goop.
thanks for the info
Glenn.

Good to hear! Chinese guns are funny. Sometimes they just need some lovin and alot of rds through them before they smooth themselves out.

The M93 mags can be finicky. Your problem sounds like the mag lips are too far apart, so the bullets are riding high and actuating the slide lock. Try bending in the mag lips slightly. Don't over do it, or the bullets will not feed properly.
