2 good examples.. I'm pretty sure Macedonians and Montenegrin are in the mix too. Not sure about the Egyptians.
The Greeks decided to modernize and I think the Bulgarians modernized recently as well. Wasn't the case for Bulgarians 100 years ago. I still remember reading a World War I account where come Christmas, the Serbs and the Bulgarians left their trenches, celebrated Christmas together and then they went back to killing each other the next day.
