AR15/AR10/Black Rifle List (25-Dec Update)

Stupid list is Stupid!

You do realize a so-called T3 makes lowers and uppers for some of your T2, same machines making the same stuff just a different roll mark.

edit to say :bigHug::bigHug::bigHug::bigHug: i just blew 556 on this stupid thread.

Blah-blah-blah, blah, blah... It's a basic reference chart. Nothing more - nothing less. It's not meant to be a definitive end-all/be-all list. As has been repeatedly mentioned, opinions can, do and will vary - and there's nothing wrong with that.

Don't agree with something? Feel free to share your own revisions. Otherwise, if you don't have anything constructive to offer...
:puke:

I haven't looked at this thread in awhile. Your sole criteria for Tiers is how much they cost? Thanks to Irunguns we can get Colts for under $1500, does that make them Tier 3?

Daniel Defence are just under $1600 so shouldn't they be in Tier 2?

DD is above COLT for there base models in the tier categories.....

HK & KAC are obviously in the top of the heap...they cost the most to make in many circumstances and there base guns are all in the best category for performance, reliability, and builds.

LMT, Noveske and DD are Tier 1 guns and possibly BCM....but old school colts cannot be better than the newer models offered by other companies...

You can't get a colt for under $1500 for a while.

Colt ar15 is selling for $2100 USD in the states right now.
It would be at least 6 months for them to catch up with the demand. But the price will drop back to normal once this crazy is over.
I personally think colt is over rated. There are too many competition right now in the ar15 industry.

Btw what happen to the list????

Where is the list?????????........WTF.......talk about a bone head move Blaxsun..............like the "French hammer of today" it's turned to foil.....as so does Blaxsun........lol

I put up a rough list, hoping to get some constructive feedback. People whined. Continuously. I finally decide to take the list down due to all of the whining and complaining. And people now whine that it's gone. Yep, must be CGN.

As rivetc78 so aptly pointed out: with all the recent changes and serious lack of supply on practically every AR15 manufactured in the US, it's really a moot question for the foreseeable future. Availability is simply going to trump all considerations.

I'm sure anyone who really misses the data can google "list of AR manufacturers" and find someone else who's written a partial list of the people who make ARs, possibly even grouped in to whatever they think is appropriate, based on no clear criteria.

As a matter of fact, when I did this a second ago, the first hit included a much longer list that had a bit of information in it. It wasn't much but it was substantially more than in this thread. So I am sure we can all make it through life without the list this thread contained.

I don't believe colt is tier 1, tier 2 is more fitting. And there is no way that stag is tier 2, while spikes is at 3, those two should be reversed. I'd even consider bumping barrett up to tier 1.

And now I am going to whine about you whining about everybody else whining.

Achievement Unlocked: Meta-Meta-Whiner!

Sorry, just kidding. Couldn't resist :).
