10/22 Availability?

I've been searching everywhere online that would sell the 10/22, but most, if not all, webstores are sold out/backordered. Are there any left online for Canadians? Local stores are the same way.
 
According to my local gun dealer, he hasnt gotten a shipment since last april, he says they are out of stock, and is still waiting for his shipment.
 
The local guy here has 2 on hand. I saw them on display.
1 is a takedown model.
The other has a black laminate stock.

These may not be the lowest priced 10/22 rifles you will find but they were in stock when I was there last week.

Pay his price and tell him I sent you. Otherwise, be a #### and don't bother.

He runs a small country store which deserves respect and support.

Was that really necessary Rifleman44? What makes you think he would treat him bad? Kids these days....

uklek, it is very hard trying to find any Ruger 10/22s anywhere. Luckily there should be shipments from our Canadian distributors the the first few weeks of January. You'll have to keep your eyes peeled everyday online to nab one when they come in stock, otherwise keep checking or calling your local stores(in case they don't have online stock indicators). I was recently able to get a hold of a new SR22 locally just by calling to see. Keep an eye daily on Elwood Epps, his stock is now updated in real time and should be getting said ruger shipments within the next month (as far as he tells me).

News about a month ago was that Ruger was 800,000 behind in production. That's a lot of back orders to fill.
Got this info from my local guy who was in Vegas talking to the Ruger rep.
 
I ordered from Dante. 260$
They are taking orders for the next shipment which they expect at the beginning of the month.
Tried to get it on EE but most people were asking more then 300$....
 
Call Lequille Country Store (pronounced "Le Keel", not "Le Quill") here in NS (902) 532-5362, ask for Danny (the owner) or Tonny ( I believe thats his name). They have a LOT of 10/22's, last time I was down he had 2 of every model of 10/22 (coloured synthetic/coloured wood grade (grain maybe? having a brain fart)/blued/SS) except a couple models. They have a webpage (w ww.lequillecountrystore.com) but it is not completed yet as it is in the process in getting built. Call and see what he has, he'll price match and ship, I've pointed a couple other CGN members his way from across the country. He doesn't have a lot of internet exposure yet, but his store is LOADED with stuff. He places orders with Ruger weekly, not monthly like a lot of places so he's on top of his inventory. I don't really know Tonny, but I've known Danny for nearly 2 decades, VERY knowledable and if he doesn't have what you're looking for, he'll get it for you. I'm doing what I can to help him with cross country exposure, it started out as a small store and has grown a great deal, but I think with enough internet exposure he could become a very strong competitor with other online hunting/fishing stores.

That's perfect - I'm located in Nova Scotia, so if he has any in stock, I should be able to either go and get it within a couple days (if he has some left!), or ship it. If not, I'll have to look through the other member's suggestions. Thank you everyone for your responses. :)
 
I just gave them a call, went straight to answering machine. Left name, number, and where I got their number from. Hopefully they aren't terribly busy.

Was able to find the last one available at Prophet River Firearms - it's currently on it's way to it's new home!
 
Everywhere I have checked has been sold out for a while. Cabelas and Wholesale said sometime in the new year, P&D was hoping for spring. I was carousing the usual websites on Boxing day and came across 2 of the TD models at SFRC ($30 less than Cabelas). An hour later their stock was one, so I bought it (along with a couple of the steel lips mags). Totally stoked as this is my first firearm. Should be here next week. Bought a couple more of the steel lips 25rd at Cabelas the other night just in case supply dries up in the new year.
