Norinco M4 10.5" vs 14.5" (no one has the 14.5 in stock)

if I go 14.5 then its either lever arms or badger arms, if I decide last minute to get the 10.5", Canada Ammo also has the ammo I need and offer free shipping. Marstar doesnt have the 14.5" in stock, they do have the 10.5" in stock but I am really worried I might get a headache that needs a new bolt and who knows what else???

It's not the bolt that's the problem, it's possibly the wrong extractor spring and missing the extractor buffer. The issue was that it would not extract a spent case before trying to load another. The buffer eliminates the problem. You can get the importer to send you one and install, it is really simple

Well if anyone decides they need a 14.5" upper and want to trade their 10.5 let me know. My 14.5 has run like a raped ape for the 500 rds that have been put through her.

No one I called today has the 14.5" in stock, and Lever Arms must be closed for the whole week, no email replies and no answer on the phone even though the machine says from 10 to 5 Monday to Friday :(

EPPS has them in stock. $499 for the 14.5" and $549 for the 10.5? Not sure why. They have been there for awhile.

People don;t realize it....but EPPS has Everything! True, their website is lame, maybe the odd price could be lower, but they have sooo much stock it's crazy. (over 3000 firearms on website)

They even had a Blackhawk Holster for my Glock G30 on the wall. And thigh rigs.

Just talked to them, they do not have any and do not know when they will be getting more in, seems to be a common answer across the country..... might be forced to try the 10.5 and hope it all works fine.

Some gun store are closed until new years. Reliable gun is closed until new years..

Why don't u order online with lever arms? Their website is ok.

I just ordered a 10.5 with 1600 rounds from Canada Ammo, I asked the guy about the buffer thing and he has never heard of it, he says the 10.5" is their most popular and most sold restricted rifle and that no one has come back to them with any issues. Sooo, that said, when it gets here, I'll try it out and see if I need to order the extractor buffer. Does brownells have a Canadian location to place that order or will I have to try and get it from the U.S.

And now the waiting game :(

The ONLY reason I didnt is because every store I called today that had them as "in stock" on their web sight actually didnt have them in stock so call me old fashioned but sometimes, not all the time, but sometimes I like to talk to people on the phone first just to be sure everything will run smoothly.

As long as you order less than $100 worth of gun parts, you don't need a permit to buy from brownell.
But they might charge you duty and tax at the canadian border.

I visited lever arms a week ago, they still have one on display... Not sure if they had more in the back room or not.
I wanna get one of the 14.5" ar15 when they get back in stock.

Hopefully you will like your new gun from Canadian ammo.

Yes it is, I believe it is actually the "Polytech" brand, but its still Norinco.

Ya after another question I found out that Norinco is basically just the arms dealer for other companies in China that make the guns.

Also, Lever Arms would have had my sale today had they answered their phone, or at the very least, had their answering machine explain their holiday hours, hell we put our holiday hours on our phone when we will be closed, and for how long etc etc so people actually know when to expect us to open back up. Oh well.

This happened to me last year. I went to their retail store several days after Christmas but before New Years. The store was closed and there was no signage stating holiday closure. Their phone and website also didn't mention the closure.

10.5" with ATRS flash eliminator, really cuts down on the boom :)

"THIS" should be telling you something about where you buy your AR from... It seems you're so hot to trott for an AR15 you are ignoring the customer service side of things... I do hope you source your AR from a company with a good track record of taking care of it's customers...

Cheers

Ya I was quite horny to get into the game LOL. I spoke to the guy on the phone from Canada Ammo and he said they come with a 30 day warranty, I kind of questioned it and he assured me if 6 months down the road if something cracks or breaks, he will take care of it for me.
