CZ 453 Premium - Where to buy???

The one at Prophet river is the Varmint Fluted. Would rather not pay extra for fluted barrel or pay a whole lot more extra for Premium version.
I'll give Del Selins a call.

Why not just do what I did and buy a regular CZ455, drill and tap it for a US Optics Picatinny rail, add a Yodave trigger kit (or wait for the new Single set trigger from CZ ($60)), add a Lilja barrel (in .22 or .17HMR or .17M2) and a Boyd's stock of your choosing. Then pillar and glass bed it, add a scope and be amazed!

I'll post some pics (or email them to you) of my tack driver when I'm back, but this rifle that I put together will out shoot anything else I own (including my Izhmash 7-2, my Anschutz 190 and my Sako Quad)

Some good ideas here that I will, consider for my CZ 455. We want details and photos of your build ;) is Boyd's stock worth it? I got lucky, my original one is georgous.

Which Boyds stock did you put on it? Magnum 452 inletting? I've been thinking of doing the same and I'd love a few pictures of the process.

Sounds like a very tricked out 455 build you got there. What you've overlooked is that I'm getting a 17HMR, not a 22LR. The HMR is so inherently accurate there is no need to customize it. The Anschutz I recently sold shot effortless MOA at 100, I'm confident a 453 in HMR will do the same and that's all I need for a hunting/plinking rifle. The reason I want a 453 is for the SST and 10 shot HMR mags. Anschutz only does 4 shot mags.

Send me a pic of your 455, I'd like to see it.

Pics to come next week when I'm back from holidays!

FYI - I bought a Boyd's 452 RVT stock in pepper laminate and did the inletting for the 455 myself. Easy. 20 mins worth of work and then I pillar and glass bedded it with JB weld. Very happy with it.
