so i ordered a new collapsable stock form zahal.org, and it will be here soon so i started to take my cz apart to have it ready, but i cannot get the folding stock off.. anyone else have a problem with that screw ? what did you use? and will i need that screw to add the collapsable stock on ? if so where could i get another ? thanks :)

Put your screw bit in your ratchet and put some stank on it. Itll come. Be sure to use a large size screw bit so it fits as snug as you can get it.

this you might have to put out they can be real tight just make sure you got the right size bit so you dont strip it

very hard to find another one of those screws. I dont think you need it for the collapsible stock. I may be wrong on that cuz I dont ever use that kind of stock but it should come with all the hardware needed to mount it on anyways.

Try a little bit of penetrating oil before you get too crazy. The right size screwdriver bit is essential.

An impact driver might work to loosen the screw if you have some way to hold the receiver so it doesn't move.

I'd like to inject a word of caution since I had the same problem and made a pile of grief for myself. I used a ratchet with a wide blade screwdriver bit. The problem I had resulted from me wrapping the receiver with rags and clamping it in a vice so I could get a good purchase on it. Little did I know that in so doing I distorted the receiver and bound the bolt up in its slides. It took a lot up screwing around with duck billed porta power spreader and gunsmithing to undo my screw up. Be careful, I didn't think I clamped it anywhere near tight enough to do any damage

fvcking yikes mate. that would tighten my ass up for sure. I half :bigHug::bigHug::bigHug::bigHug:ed up a remington870 forend tube trying to bash it into a new foreend. That took some dremmelling to fix. Runs good now though.
