"Need" a 22-250

I'm in the market for the same type of pkg - I've been looking around and personally my favourite hands down is the Browning X-bolt in .223 - it's lighter than the Tikka and I found the quality and workmanship is head and shoulder of anything else I have handled...

Just putting the money together now - and haven't seen a reason not to go Browning..... is there a reason no one has mentioned it in the comparison to date ??

Thanks

Trust me, you haven't. :D

Go for a lightweight 22/250. You'll be happy with it. I had this one built with a 9" twist Shilen in MR contour and VXII 2x7.

What length of barrel did you go with? I like the short action.

There was a recent Cabela's flyer that offered the T/C in .22-250 on sale for (I think) $549.

I've never tried that rifle but I am sure you can find some reviews.

I was just mentioning that gun in another thread. I like it. Feels solid and well-made. Going to head down to sort it out for the buyer shortly (friend bought it). Hope it likes the 45gr hp's.

If you have already bought the rifle why not try it out and see how it shoots?

I only paid half of it, it's still on layaway. I picked it out on impulse the store is an hour and a half away so I still have a bit of time to think about it. I can always change my mind in the next two weeks.
